Opening a document
On iPhone and iPad, tap a .udf file in Files, or share
it to Zarf from Mail, Messages or another app. You can also open
Zarf and browse to the document.
On a Mac, double-click a .udf file in Finder, or
choose File, Open in Zarf. If another app opens .udf
files, select one in Finder, choose File, Get Info, pick Zarf under
Open With and click Change All.
What the signature status means
A document can have several signers. Zarf checks each of them and shows the worst result for the document.
- Signature is valid: the document hasn't changed since it was signed, and the signer's qualified certificate from a recognized Turkish provider was valid at the stated signing time.
- Document was modified: the document was changed after it was signed.
- Certificate isn't trusted: the document hasn't changed, but the certificate isn't a qualified certificate from a recognized Turkish provider, so the signer's identity can't be confirmed.
- Certificate wasn't valid when signed: the certificate had expired or wasn't yet valid at the stated signing time.
- Signature is invalid or can't be checked: the signature doesn't match its certificate, or uses a form Zarf doesn't support.
Zarf doesn't check whether a certificate was revoked, and the signing time is stated by the signer, so this isn't a legal validation. To check a document with UYAP itself, use the UYAP verification code shown with the signatures.
A document looks different
Zarf aims to show every page faithfully. If a document looks different, or doesn't open at all, please tell us what you see. Please don't send us documents themselves: they usually hold other people's personal data.
